Drywall!

We stopped by the house last night on our way home from PA - the drywall is up and looking good!

Fall in PA

We went home to Derry this weekend. It was a nice fall weekend with family and friends! Here are some pics from our drive home. We stopped at the pumpkin patch....a tradition we started a few years ago.

PJ Party!

Beth went home this weekend and had the pleasure of attending a Prettiezzz PJ Party where she saw Tee, met miss Mia and saw many familiar faces from Tee's wedding! Mia is such a good baby and is so adorable. She also hung out with the fam and tried on her wedding dress, which is in progress and looking great (the first picture here was taken from Tee's blog)!

The house is looking more like a house!! The latest - closing the day before Thanksgiving :-)

Light the Night Walk

We walked in the Light the Night for Blood Cancer last weekend to commemorate Abby. Here are a few pictures (you'll see that Andy's inner child was quite disappointed that he broke his balloon even before the walk began).

Pre-Drywall!!!

Yesterday was our Pre-Drywall meeting! It's looking really good! There were even things we weren't expecting like a pre-wired Fios media center, lots of fire prevention stuff, termite prevention, sprinkler system (that's what those orange tubes are), etc..... The builder hopes to close the day before Thanksgiving (let's keep our fingers crossed!!)

Nearing Pre-Drywall!

We took a trip to the house on Sunday to see the progress. All of the windows are in and they finsihed the brick work! On the way, we said hi to this groundhog on the side of the road :-)

In & Out....in AZ

Andy was in Phoenix, AZ last week for a big work conference. Although he spent most of his time at the resort working, he did make it to In & Out (the burgers are, indeed, awesome).

Waiting For the Machine

While B waits to get her new sewing machine, she got back to her oil painting! Once framed, these will go in the new living room :-)

Shingles and Windows!

It's been about two weeks since the last house picture update....the shingles are on and the windows/doors are being installed! It also looks like they are getting ready to start bricklaying.

They estimate the pre-drywall to be around end of September and closing the day after Thanksgiving.
